Picturesque Premantura is a quaint little village consisting of mostly private homes. It is located in the southernmost part of Istria and has been inhabited from the time of the Bronze Age.
The remains of rustic villas are evidence of Roman inhabitants who once enjoyed the pleasent climate, beautiful beaches and surrounding nature. A beautiful statue of Minerva was discovered here and today is exhibited in the ''Archaeological Museum of Istria'' in the Town of Pula.
Be sure to visit the ancient Catholic Church built in the middle of the 17th Century.
