A three-hour speedboat ride will take you to Venice, one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in the world.
Once a great maritime power, known as the Serenissima and Queen of the Adriatic, Venice developed on 118 islands in a lagoon crisscrossed by canals connected by around 400 bridges. Throughout its history, in the 10th century, it became the most powerful maritime power in the world, and today it remains an outstanding example of urban planning and architecture.
Venice is full of tourist attractions, the most famous of which is St. Mark's Square, surrounded by St. Mark's Basilica - the most beautiful example of Byzantine architecture, the bell tower and the luxurious Doge's Palace. Another must-see attraction is the Rialto Bridge, which offers a beautiful view of the Grand Canal.
You will have free time to explore the city and its attractions or instead you can go on optional excursions (at an additional cost) such as a gondola ride, lunch at one of the Venetian restaurants or a water taxi ride along the Grand Canal.
